Membership
The decision to become a member of a local church should be different than becoming a member of a credit union, country club or any other association. It's not about dues and benefits, it’s about being a member of a family. But you may wonder what should motivate you do “join” instead of simply attend? Find out more in A Biblical View of Membership.
How to Become a Member
Formalizing your membership is really quite simple:
- Let us know you would like to become a member. You can talk to the pastor, an elder, someone at the Welcome Center, or your Life Group leader. You can also just download the Membership Application.
- Read and pray about the Membership Covenant, and decide if you're ready to make this commitment.
- Fill out the Membership Application and give it to us on a Sunday morning or email it to Pastor Don.
- We'll contact you to set up a brief meeting for you to talk with an Elder and another church member.
- Your name and desire for membership will be communicated to the church for two weeks to let our people know (and celebrate) your intention to join.
- The elders will vote and formalize your membership at their next meeting.
