Membership

The decision to become a member of a local church should be different than becoming a member of a credit union, country club or any other association. It's not about dues and benefits, it’s about being a member of a family.  But you may wonder what should motivate you do “join” instead of simply attend?  Find out more in A Biblical View of Membership

How to Become a Member

Formalizing your membership is really quite simple:

  1. Let us know you would like to become a member. You can talk to the pastor, an elder, someone at the Welcome Center, or your Life Group leader. You can also just download the Membership Application.
  2. Read and pray about the Membership Covenant, and decide if you're ready to make this commitment.
  3. Fill out the Membership Application and give it to us on a Sunday morning or email it to Pastor Don.
  4. We'll contact you to set up a brief meeting for you to talk with an Elder and another church member.
  5. Your name and desire for membership will be communicated to the church for two weeks to let our people know (and celebrate) your intention to join.
  6. The elders will vote and formalize your membership at their next meeting.
